It's always interesting to see how other people run a split-test. Google is right now conducting a split-test for their very latest product: Google TV ads.
Follow the links below to check it out. Once you're cookied in one browser you're only be able to see one specific landing page version, but using different browsers will enable you to see what the split-test consists of.

Below is a table of the major networs in PPV. If you are unfamilar with what PPV is or how it works, then just check out some of the sites. Many of them carry a full description of what PPV or CPV is and provide good examples.

Cost of Acquisition Study
Submitted by jen on Tue, 2010-01-12 15:48This table was published in 2005. It therefore could be misleading, but it does serve some purpose in seeing the comparison. Art.com compiled their ROI stats and here is what they found (in 2005)
It's interesting to see that affiliates were the most profitable. However the table doesn't show if the Affiliates actually stuck around and if they didn't bear the brunt of the costs and made any money or not. Would be interesting to find out.
Banner Retargeting: Follow your prospects to wherever they go on the internet

Submitted by jen on Sat, 2009-10-31 15:14Here is another new marketing idea to keep your eye on: "Sideways emails". By which we mean emails that you have to scroll sideways, instead of downward. Abercrombie & Fitch are testing this idea. I'l be watching them to see their results with it.
